This document establishes the workforce principles, participation requirements, operational standards and behavioural expectations that apply to individuals authorised to access parcelrun systems, facilities, platforms and services.
These standards apply across the broader parcelrun network, including employees, contractors, subcontractors, riders, drivers, walkers, labour hire personnel, agency personnel, fulfilment personnel, warehouse personnel, hub personnel, supervisors, managers, administrative personnel and other authorised service providers.
The purpose of this document is to support a safe, inclusive, high-performing and professional operating environment that enables parcelrun to consistently deliver positive outcomes for customers, clients, communities and team members.
PART A – Workforce & Platform Terms
Workforce Principles

Parcelrun recognises that its workforce may consist of individuals engaged through a variety of lawful arrangements, including employment, contracting, labour hire, agency arrangements, subcontracting and other service provider models.

Behaviour that undermines safety, integrity, professionalism, customer experience or the reputation of parcelrun may result in corrective action.
Working Rights & Compliance
Parcelrun is committed to complying with applicable workplace, employment, safety and anti-discrimination laws.
Participants must maintain any licences, permits, registrations, certifications, insurances or work rights required to lawfully perform their role.
Parcelrun may request evidence of compliance from time to time and may restrict access where required documentation is not maintained.
Participation in the Parcelrun Network
Individuals may participate in the parcelrun network through various engagement models, including:
- Employment
- Contracting
- Labour hire arrangements
- Agency arrangements
- Subcontracting arrangements
- Service provider arrangements
- Other lawful engagement structures
Nothing in this document determines the nature of any working relationship or removes rights and obligations arising under applicable laws or separate agreements.
Where a separate employment agreement, contractor agreement, labour hire agreement, service agreement, workplace policy, code of conduct or other written arrangement applies, that arrangement will prevail to the extent of any inconsistency.
Eligibility Requirements
To access parcelrun systems, facilities or work opportunities, individuals may be required to provide and maintain:
- Proof of identity
- Right-to-work documentation
- Driver licence details
- Vehicle registration details
- Insurance information
- Safety training records
- Compliance documentation
- Emergency contact information
- Qualifications or certifications
- Any other information reasonably required by parcelrun
Participants must ensure all information remains accurate, complete and current.
Platform Access
Parcelrun grants a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to access and use authorised parcelrun systems and platforms.
Parcelrun may suspend, restrict, modify or revoke access where reasonably required.
Users must not:
- Share accounts;
- Share login credentials
- Circumvent security controls
- Reverse engineer systems
- Access unauthorised information
- Misuse parcelrun technology
- Use systems for unlawful purposes
Operational Tracking & Technology
Parcelrun may utilise technology, systems and operational reporting tools to support:
- Workforce planning
- Delivery allocation
- Route management
- Safety
- Customer experience
- Service quality
- Operational support
- Training and development
- Performance improvement
- Business operations
This may include:
- GPS information
- Delivery records
- Scan data
- Attendance records
- Communications
- Performance metrics
- Operational reporting
- Other information reasonably required to support parcelrun operations.
The purpose of such systems is to support safe, efficient and consistent service delivery and continuous improvement.
Safety & Compliance
Participants must:
- Comply with safety requirements
- Report incidents and hazards
- Follow lawful operational directions
- Maintain required licences, registrations and certifications
- Maintain required insurance where applicable
- Participate in reasonable safety initiatives and training
Safety is a shared responsibility and a core component of the parcelrun operating model.
Audit & Compliance Reviews
Parcelrun may conduct audits, reviews, inspections or compliance checks from time to time to verify compliance with:
- Applicable laws
- Safety requirements
- Operational procedures
- Documentation requirements
- Training requirements
- Insurance requirements
- Workforce standards
Participants must reasonably cooperate with such reviews and provide requested information where reasonably required.
Fitness for Work, Drugs & Alcohol
Participants must be fit for work at all times while performing services within the parcelrun network. Individuals must not perform services while impaired by:
- Alcohol
- Illegal drugs
- Prohibited substances
- Misused medication
- Any condition that may adversely affect safety, judgement or performance
Where permitted by law and reasonably required having regard to safety, compliance or operational requirements, parcelrun may require participation in:
- Drug and alcohol testing
- Fitness-for-work assessments
- Incident investigations
- Related compliance processes
Refusal to participate where reasonably required may result in restricted access, suspension or removal from activities.
Confidentiality
Participants may have access to confidential information relating to:
- Parcelrun
- Customers
- Clients
- Suppliers
- Personnel
- Systems
- Operations
- Commercial activities
Such information must not be disclosed, copied, used or shared except where authorised or required by law.
Confidentiality obligations continue after participation within the parcelrun network ceases.
Conflict of Interest
Participants must disclose any actual, potential or perceived conflict of interest that may affect their ability to perform services objectively, safely or professionally.
Parcelrun may implement reasonable measures to manage identified conflicts.
Investigations & Cooperation
Participants must reasonably cooperate with investigations relating to:
- Safety incidents
- Customer complaints
- Compliance matters
- Operational reviews
- Misconduct allegations
- Other matters affecting parcelrun operations
Parcelrun will seek to conduct investigations fairly, reasonably and respectfully.
Non-Solicitation & Client Protection
Participants must not knowingly use information obtained through the parcelrun network to directly solicit or divert customers, clients, personnel or business opportunities away from parcelrun.
Nothing in this section prevents lawful employment opportunities or activities permitted by law.
This section survives cessation of participation within the parcelrun network.
Responsibility & Accountability
Participants remain responsible for their own conduct and actions.
Where permitted by law, participants may be held accountable for losses arising from:
- Fraudulent conduct
- Wilful misconduct
- Unlawful conduct
- Deliberate damage
- Serious breaches of obligations
- Knowingly false information
Nothing in this section limits rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be limited.
Suspension & Removal
Parcelrun may suspend, restrict or remove access to systems, facilities, services or opportunities where:
- Safety concerns arise
- Compliance requirements are not met
- Required documentation expires
- Fraud is suspected
- Serious misconduct occurs
- Operational requirements reasonably require it
- This document is materially breached
Parcelrun will seek to take a fair, proportionate and reasonable approach having regard to the circumstances.

Standards, Safety & Operational Expectations
Regardless of role, engagement model or location, all participants contribute to the customer experience delivered by parcelrun.
While individuals may perform different functions across the parcelrun network, we share a common responsibility to deliver safe, professional, reliable and customer-focused outcomes.

All personnel are expected to:
- Work safely
- Identify and report hazards
- Participate in safety initiatives
- Support a proactive safety culture
- Follow safe work procedures
- Stop work where an immediate safety risk exists

Induction, Onboarding & Training
Parcelrun invests in building capable, confident and informed teams.
Personnel may be required to participate in:
- Inductions
- Onboarding programs
- Safety training
- Operational training
- System training
- Refresher training
- Compliance training
- Toolbox talks
- Ongoing professional development activities
Continuous learning and improvement are encouraged across all areas of the business.
Toolbox Talks & Operational Briefings
Parcelrun may conduct regular:
- Toolbox talks
- Safety briefings
- Operational updates
- Service reviews
- Performance reviews
- Improvement initiatives
Personnel are expected to actively participate and contribute where required.
Operational Support
Parcelrun may provide support through:
- Dispatch teams
- Supervisors
- Workforce coordinators
- Hub leaders
- Operational managers
- Technical support resources
- Training resources
- Leadership teams
Personnel are expected to remain reasonably contactable while performing services and communicate issues, incidents, delays or concerns promptly.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
Parcelrun may monitor operational performance to support:
- Service quality
- Customer experience
- Safety outcomes
- Workforce development
- Route optimisation
- Operational efficiency
- Training requirements
- Continuous improvement
Monitoring may include:
- GPS data
- Attendance
- Delivery performance
- Scan compliance
- Service completion records
- Customer feedback
- Operational reporting
The purpose of monitoring is to support individuals, improve outcomes and strengthen the parcelrun network.
Customer Experience
Every interaction reflects on the parcelrun brand.
Personnel are expected to:
- Be professional and respectful
- Communicate clearly
- Follow reasonable customer instructions
- Protect customer property
- Demonstrate accountability
- Support positive customer outcomes
Customer experience remains central to everything we do.
Presentation Standards
Where applicable, personnel may be required to maintain:
- Appropriate work attire
- Branded uniforms
- Branded safety equipment
- Personal protective equipment
- Presentable vehicles
- Clean and well-maintained equipment
Presentation standards support professionalism, safety and brand consistency.
Brand & Reputation
All personnel contribute to the reputation of parcelrun.
Personnel must not engage in conduct that may:
- Damage customer confidence
- Damage client relationships
- Damage operational integrity
- Create safety risks
- Bring the parcelrun brand into disrepute
Every participant plays a role in protecting and strengthening the parcelrun brand.
Respectful Workplace
